Tohmas e. Weber was a 2nd lieutenant in the u. S. Army signal corps during the civil war. Mustered into company a of the 97th regiment of the pennsylvania volunteers on august 22, 1861, he was promoted to 1st sergeant on may 1, 1862.

He was wounded in the action at james island, south carolina on june 9, 1862. He was transfrered to the u. S. Signal corps on january 30, 1864.. termsauthenticity guaranteed.
